Step 3 - Configure DHCP

Your Ethernet connection needs to be configured for DHCP to use ResNet.

If your network card is already configured for DHCP, please continue on.

If you're not sure if your card is ready to go:

1. Go to the Network Control Panel.

2. Select your Wired Ethernet Local Area Connection.

3. Set the connection protocol to "TCP/IP."

4. Select "Obtain an IP address automatically."

5. Save your settings.

Next, you will need to physically connect to your Ethernet jack.
