ResNet Software Requirements

Certain types of software are required to be installed on your computer prior to gaining access to all of the features of ResNet:

PCs and Laptops	Mac
An approved Operating System Up-to-date Antivirus software Windows Updates Adequate anti-spyware tools Adequate anti-adware tools	OS X (10.1 or higher) Up-to-date Antivirus software Adequate anti-spyware tools Adequate anti-adware tools

Approved Operating Systems (for PCs and Laptops)

You must have an approved operating system to use ResNet.
Only the following operating systems are approved:

Windows XP Home with Service Pack 2
Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 2
Windows XP Media Center (all editions)
Windows Vista (all versions)
Mac OS X (10.1 or higher)
Linux (All versions)

Windows 95, 98, and ME are not compatible with ResNet.
Windows 2000 will connect, but only limited technical support is provided.

Notes to remember:

If your PC does not meet all of these requirements, ResNet service cannot be provided to it.
All of the required antivirus and anti-spyware software is available for download from our website.
Please note that if you already have one version of a given type of software installed, you do not need to install the version provided by us... just make sure your version has the latest updates added to it.

	Failure to ensure your PC is virus and spyware free may result in temporary suspension of ResNet service. Please visit our Quarantine System information page for further details.
	The ResNet staff is not responsible for making your PC compatible with the ResNet service, and we will not support issues that arise due to the installation or improper installation of the above software including Service Pack 2 for Windows XP.
	Computers running Windows 98 and Windows ME are not permitted to access ResNet.
