"ResNet" is the originally the name given to the network that connects students living in the Residence Halls to the University Network and to the Internet.  Over the years, the term 'ResNet' has evolved and is now used frequently to describe not only the Residence Hall Network, but also the ResNet Help Desk, and even a general nickname for the ResNet staff members.  ResNet is maintained by the ResNet Department, a division of the Computing Technologies Center at Shippensburg University. The ResNet office is currently located in the basement of McLean Hall.

There are four primary services that ResNet provides:

	ResNet Wired Network Access
	ResNet Wireless Network Access
	The ResNet Help Desk
	The ResNet GameLAN
