Help and Support - ResNet F.A.Q.s
Shippensburg University > ResNet > Help and Support > F.A.Q.s

What do I need to connect to ResNet?

Please see our minimum requirements.

What if my computer does not meet the minimum requirements?

In order to maintain quality service and support, the ResNet program has developed a listing of minimum requirements.  If your computer does not meet these requirements, you may be able to connect to the network, but ResNet cannot guarantee that you will be provided with full support.

Do I need to bring my own computer?

There are several computer labs on campus.  However, not all of them are open 24 hours a day, and many become very crowded during mid-term and final examination periods.  It is very convenient and beneficial to have your own computer to use when you need it.

Do I need my own printer?

It is possible to save your work on a disk and then print documents from the campus computing labs.  Individuals with computers find it convenient to have their own printer. For more information about printing in the labs, click here.

How do I configure my computer for ResNet?

For detailed instructions on configuring your computer for ResNet, see the Connecting to ResNet page.

What can I do if I have questions about the ResNet program?

You can contact the ResNet Help Desk at campus extension 1639 or from off-campus at
(717) 477-1639.
